For welfare officers

Safeguarding, on the record.

Football club safeguarding software: consents on the record, concerns raised in the app, credential reminders and a log of who did what.

The club's terms and safeguarding page: safeguarding in place with the welfare officer named, and consent wording live, in draft or ready to update

Your week with it.

There is no separate welfare officer login. For now the club admin handles concerns, and the welfare officer's name and contact details sit on the safeguarding policy every family reads.

Consent wording to start from.

Start from our wording for photo, name and stats consents, edit it, and adopt it. We record that you confirmed your safeguarding arrangements. We do not approve them.

Every plan
Editing the consent wording: the club name, address, contact, county FA, welfare officer and affiliation number filled in

Anyone can raise a concern.

Anyone at the club can raise a concern in the app, and club admins review them. Nobody at the club is alerted when one is filed, so club admins check the queue. An email with no concern content goes to our safeguarding inbox, not to the club.

Every plan
The concern queue: each concern with what was reported, its status and the date, and a Report a concern button

A log of who did what.

A log of who did what and when, with a CSV download. Club admins only.

Every plan
The audit log: when, who, what happened and to which record, with a Download CSV button

Families read the policy first.

Families tick that they have read the club's safeguarding policy before they carry on. The welfare officer's name, email and phone sit on that policy.

Everything it does for you.

The tag shows which plan a club needs. Plans are priced per club, never per player. See every feature, the three prices and how safeguarding works.

What it never does.

The app helps you keep the records. It does not pretend to do a welfare officer's judgement for them.

Read the safeguarding policy
  1. It never says a check is cleared or a policy approved. We record that you confirmed your safeguarding arrangements. We do not approve them.
  2. Credential reminders never say anyone is cleared. They remind you of dates.
  3. A concern's details are never emailed. The email that goes to our safeguarding inbox carries no concern content.
  4. There is no private chat between an adult and a child. Messages go to the parent.
  5. Nobody carries on without reading the policy. Families tick that they have read the club's safeguarding policy before they continue.

Questions welfare officers ask first.

Straight answers to what welfare officers ask before they put safeguarding records into an app. If yours is not here, email info@thefullsquad.com and a person will reply.

Is there a welfare officer login?

No, there is no separate welfare officer role. For now the club admin handles concerns and the safeguarding records. The welfare officer's name, email and phone sit on the club's safeguarding policy, where every family can see who to contact.

Who sees a concern once it is raised?

Club admins review the queue. Anyone at the club can raise a concern, but filing is write only: the person raising it cannot read the queue.

Is the welfare officer alerted when a concern is raised?

No. Nobody at the club is alerted, so club admins check the queue. An email with no concern content goes to our safeguarding inbox.

Does the app check our staff credentials?

No. It reminds you of the dates on credentials such as a DBS check, 60 days out, 30 days out and on the day, and it never says anyone is cleared.

Can we use your consent wording?

For photo, name and stats consents, yes: start from our wording, edit it and adopt it. We record that you confirmed your safeguarding arrangements, and we do not approve them. Templates for medical and emergency treatment and for codes of conduct are coming soon.

Can we set how long records are kept?

Yes. Set how long each kind of record is kept, and place a hold when you must keep one.
