What it never does.

A committee answers for the club, so here is what the app will not do.

How safeguarding works
  1. It never claims to make a club compliant. The welfare officer, DBS checks and FA duties stay with the club.
  2. No adult can message a child one to one. There is no setting that turns that off.
  3. It never charges per player or per team. Plans are priced per club.
  4. It never holds the club's data back. Ask for a copy of everything the club is required to keep, at no charge, any time.
  5. It never chases subs on its own. Every reminder is sent by a person.

What should we ask before signing up?

What is included on the plan you are looking at, who owns the club's data, and what happens to it if you ever leave. This page and the pricing page answer all three.

Is safeguarding included on the cheapest plan?

Yes. Safeguarding sits on every plan, never held back for a higher tier, because a club's duties to its children should never depend on which plan it can afford.

Who owns our club's data?

The club does, full stop. Ask for a copy of everything the club is required to keep, at no charge, any time. After a cancellation you have 30 days to ask for your export, registration, medical and safeguarding records included.

What happens when the secretary or treasurer changes?

A club admin can switch off the leaving person's access straight away. The records stay with the club, and the new secretary or treasurer picks up the same records, not a folder nobody can find.
