Is the price per team or per club?
Per club, always. One subscription covers every team, every age group and every login, from the chair to the newest parent. We don't count heads.
Is registration extra?
No, and it never will be. Registration sits in every tier, safeguarding records and all, because it's the thing that gets a club off the spreadsheets. Handling children's data properly should never cost extra.
What does payment processing cost?
A platform fee that gets cheaper as you move up, plus VAT, plus Stripe's own standard charge of 1.5% + 20p. Starter is 2.5% + VAT, Club is 1% + VAT, Pro is 0.5% + VAT. Add VAT at 20% to the platform fee and Stripe's charge on top, and the all-in figure works out at about 4.5% + 20p on Starter, 2.7% + 20p on Club and 2.1% + 20p on Pro. Worked on a £300 sub: Starter costs the club about £13.70 all in, Club about £8.30, Pro about £6.50. The club absorbs it and parents never see a surcharge at checkout, and if a club refunds a family, our platform fee comes back too, pro rata; Stripe's own charge does not.
Do the prices include VAT?
The headline number is shown without VAT and the figure beside it includes VAT at 20%, because most grassroots clubs are not VAT registered and cannot reclaim it. Reload IT Ltd is VAT registered, number 242270045. VAT is added on the invoice at the standard rate. We would rather show you the base number and say so plainly than hide it in small print.
What happens if you do not make it to 2027?
Fair question, and the honest answer is that nobody on the early access list has paid us anything, so if we get this wrong you have lost an email address and nothing else. Reload IT Ltd is an established company funding this itself rather than spending somebody else's money against a clock. And no club moves onto the platform until it has been watched running a real club's season first.
When can my club start?
We launch for the 2027/28 season, and launch places are limited because we set every early club up personally. Leave your email on the early access list and you'll get a first look at each piece as it lands, first pick of a place when the doors open, and these launch prices locked for your first 12 months.
What happens if we cancel?
You keep full service to the end of whatever you've paid for. After that there's a 30-day window to export everything as portable files, registration, medical and safeguarding records included, and members are told too, so parents can request their own children's records. Nobody's data is ever stranded. Leaving is as tidy as joining.
Who owns our data?
The club does, full stop. In legal terms the club is the data controller and we're the processor, which is a formal way of saying we look after it on your instructions. Every club's data lives in its own space and never mixes with another club's, and if you ever leave, the full export goes with you.
Do parents pay to use the app?
No. The club's subscription covers every parent and player login, and the only money a parent ever pays is whatever the club itself charges, like subs or match fees. A child who didn't get on the pitch is never charged a match fee.
Can we switch tiers mid-season?
Yes, whenever you like. Pay monthly and you're never locked in for a season, or pay annually and save 15%. Moving down deletes nothing: content from features you stop using is kept, and children's records are never orphaned by a downgrade. Move back up later and it's all still there waiting.
How quickly will you answer if something breaks?
Every plan gets the same standard first-response targets: Critical within 1 working hour, High within 4 working hours, Normal within 1 working day, and Low within 2 working days. Pro adds priority support on top of that: a named support contact who knows your club, and a direct phone line during business hours. The targets are the same, the person answering is not.
We're moving from Teamer, Pitchero, Spond or TeamFeePay, can you help?
Yes. We import your data now and you start paying once your season starts, and we'll do the column mapping with you rather than leaving you to guess. See the full detail on the switching page.
